PK Announces Venue Change for Location of Dallas Event

Aug. 15-16: Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship
Set to Host National Men’s Conference

DENVER, July 21, 2008— Promise Keepers today announced a venue change for the Aug. 15-16, 2008 national men's conference in Dallas, Texas. The "Manhood: Let the Truth Be Told" event will now be held at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas.

“Due to current economic pressures and our desire to maintain the life-changing impact of the live program, we felt the need to make the best use of the resources God has given us,” stated Dr. Tom Fortson, president and CEO of Promise Keepers. “We are grateful to Oak Cliff and our friend Dr. Tony Evans for making their facility available to us.”

Dr. Tony Evans, senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, has been a frequent speaker for Promise Keepers. "We are delighted to host this important men's conference and welcome men from across the southwest to our church," said Dr. Evans. "Promise Keepers has been providing life changing ministry to men for 17 years."

Men attending the Dallas Promise Keeper’s event will come from all walks of life for high-energy music, comic relief and straight talk from top Christian speakers and former professional athletes including Dan Seaborn, Richard Blackaby, Don Davis, Rick Rigsby and Mike Silva.
