“Due to
current economic pressures
and our desire to
maintain the life-changing impact of the live program, we felt the
need to make the best use of the resources God has given us,” stated Dr. Tom
Fortson, president and CEO of Promise Keepers. “We are grateful to New Birth
Church
and our friend Bishop Eddie Long for making their facility available to
us.”
Bishop
Eddie L. Long, senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist
Church,
is a past speaker for Promise Keepers and looks forward to hosting this
important event. "We are pleased to provide the platform for Promise Keepers to
challenge men with the message of true manhood," said Bishop Long. "I welcome
men from all over the southeast to come find out what manhood is really all
about."
Men attending the Atlanta Promise
Keeper’s event will come from all walks of life for high-energy music, comic
relief and straight talk from top Christian speakers and former professional
