a venue change for the Aug. 1-2, 2008 national men's conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

Church “Due to current economic pressures and our desire to maintain the life-changing impact of the live program, we felt the need to make the best use of the resources God has given us,” stated Dr. Tom Fortson, president and CEO of Promise Keepers. “We are grateful to New Birth Church and our friend Bishop Eddie Long for making their facility available to us.” Bishop Eddie L. Long, senior pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, is a past speaker for Promise Keepers and looks forward to hosting this important event. "We are pleased to provide the platform for Promise Keepers to challenge men with the message of true manhood," said Bishop Long. "I welcome men from all over the southeast to come find out what manhood is really all about."
