Introduction to The Watchmen

Dear PK Prayer Partner:

In our opinion, “A Time To Honor” conference was the best conference PK ever did. Coach Bill McCartney’s bold fresh vision was to re-launch and reignite people across the nation. The national re-launch took place at Folsom Field in Boulder, Colorado on July 31 and August 1, 2009 where Promise Keepers began. (A Time To Honor: News Release click here)

This was a time to Celebrate, Honor and Heal as three strategic planks of ministry were presented. We did “Celebrate” the 20th Anniversary of Promise Keepers.

The Apostle Paul articulates in Galatians 3:28 three specific targets where Honor can Heal divides; “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Honoring women heals the gender divide where women have been dishonored. Honoring the poor, oppressed and needy, and equipping congregations to stand with their pastors to heal the divides of social and economic distinctions were addressed. Honoring the Messianic believers as fathers of our faith heals the divide of disunity in the Body of Christ.

We thank every prayer warrior that prayed fervently in agreement with PK for “A Time To Honor” conference as we experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit at Folsom Field. The Holy Spirit ministered to the lives of women, the poor, oppressed, needy and the fathers of our faith and lives were transformed and we experienced healing of the divides. We are continuing to recruit “5400 Watchmen on the Wall” warring male and female intercessors to stand in the gap and make up the Wall on behalf of men, women, children, pastors, rabbis, and leaders from across the nation We will Fight to Finish Faithfully the race set before us.

As the Holy Spirit drew approximately 10,000 people into the stadium, they were encouraged and empowered to become what the Father has destined them to be from the foundation of the world. We are challenging you to recruit prayer warriors to enlist as one of the “5400 Watchmen on the Wall” to be warring intercessors to stand in the gap and make up the Wall as we go forward with God’s assignment.

The number “5400” originated from Folsom Field that is situated at 5400 feet above sea level, one of the highest college stadiums in the nation. As we move forward in this move of God, we feel that the Lord wants us to continue to build this wall.

You are strategic in praying this “into” reality. Your prayers will, and do, make a difference and they will affect lives for eternity as we see this move of God being a catalyst to usher the return of Messiah, Jesus Christ. We will periodically send you prayer updates and prayer targets concerning future events.
