How can I volunteer to serve at PK’s offices?
Volunteering is very close to the heart of God. It represents the selfless, caring, giving qualities to which Christians are called. It suggests a sense of family where a growing love for God and relationship with Him is the goal, and a growing love for each other is part of the process. Sometimes the work is hard and the hours are long. Often individuals seem to labor in obscurity, making sacrifices that only the Lord can know. Such is the nature of serving.
Volunteers are needed in the national offices. The national offices are located in Greenwood Village, CO. Most assignments are available during regular business hours. You can email us at volonline@pknet.org or call 303-964-7873.

Can women volunteer?
Yes. Without women volunteers, Promise Keepers would be hard pressed to put on our conferences. Surveys found that as many as 48% of our unpaid servants are women. To minister fully to people at each conference, Promise Keepers depends on the good will, hard work, and prayers of our volunteers. For more information, please see our Volunteer Recruitment Form.

If I volunteer can I get into the conference?
Many of the volunteer positions are on the outside of the sanctuary. The positions on the inside are assigned to conferees (ushers, evangelism volunteer, special needs) which allows them to still participate in the event. It is our desire that all conferees register for the conferences even if volunteering.
-
Does PK provide accommodations for out of town volunteers?
Promise Keepers is unable to assist out-of-town volunteers in securing local accomodations. For this reason, Promise Keepers puts an emphasis on recruiting local volunteers for each event.
-
Can I be assigned with my friends?
Yes. We try to place people together with their friends. When you register to volunteer, let the phone operator know with whom you would like to volunteer, or write the names and phone numbers on the recruitment form before you send it in.
-
What kind of a commitment is required of a volunteer?
All we ask is that you commit to your scheduled shift(s). See position and shift schedule.
-
Can I hear the conference from my assigned position?
Live audio/video coverage of the conference is available in limited areas around the venue.
-
How does the assignment process work?
The local volunteer recruiting team is responsible for recruiting the volunteers for the conference. If your name is submitted by Internet, Volunteer Hotline, mail, or fax to the National Office, it will be supplied to the local recruiting team. They will assign the positions and shifts through dialogue with volunteer candidates. Volunteering early helps Promise Keepers maximize this valuable resource.
-
Can I bring my children when I volunteer?
Childcare will not be available. Please make alternate arrangements for your children.
-
Are there age restrictions for volunteers?
Yes. All volunteers must be at least 16 and have parent/gaurdian approval if under 18.
-
Will parking and meals be provided for volunteers?
Every event is different. Some venues have ample parking and others do not. Carpooling is encouraged and we ask that you allow time for traffic and parking delays. Each facility charges its own fee for parking. Complimentary meals are provided based upon your shift(s).
Is there a dress code for volunteers?
Dress should be modest and casual. Comfortable shoes are a must. In addition, depending upon the time of year, you may want to bring a jacket or sweater.
