Can we call our men’s group a name that incorporates the name “PROMISE KEEPERS” or “PK” (for example, “Cornerstone Promise Keepers” or “Belleview Men’s PK Group”)?
No. PROMISE KEEPERS is a registered trademark and service mark of Promise Keepers. Our logo, which contains the “PK” crest, is also federally registered. We simply cannot make any exceptions for its use by other ministries and groups. The primary reason use of our name is prohibited is to prevent confusion among our constituents as well as the general populace. We recommend use of a name that will uniquely identify your group, or one that may associate your group with a particular ministry mission, locality, or church.
-
Can we call our men’s group a name that incorporates the name of “MEN OF INTEGRITY” (for example, “South Hampton Men of Integrity”)?
PK no longer authorizes local groups to incorporate the phrase MEN OF INTEGRITY into their name. We are in the process of reviewing alternatives to this policy but until posted otherwise, we recommend use of a name that will uniquely identify your group, or one that may associate your group with a particular ministry mission, locality, or church.
-
Can we use the PK logo, or incorporate a portion of the PK logo into our logo?
The Promise Keepers logo, which contains the name PROMISE KEEPERS, the phrase MEN OF INTEGRITY and the PK crest, is a registered trade and service mark of Promise Keepers, and may not be used to identify any other person, entity, service or product.
What part of the PK logo can be used on merchandise?
You may not use the Promise Keepers mark, PK logo or any other PK trademark on any merchandise, or to identify or promote any product or service. Doing so not only would violate applicable law, but also could jeopardize PK’s existing contractual licensee relationships.
PK commissions a variety of merchandise that displays the PK name and logo that are available online at the PK Store and helps support and sustain our ministry!
-
Can we copy the conference theme graphic or other artwork contained on this website onto a T-shirt or other product?
No. But these types of products are available online at our PK Online Store, which helps support and sustain our ministry!
